Why do I need to do regular WordPress Updates?

Regular WordPress updates are crucial for maintaining security, improving functionality, fixing bugs, and ensuring compatibility with themes and plugins, helping to keep your site running smoothly and securely.

Do I need WordPress Management?

Whilst WordPress Toolkit makes it incredibly easy to do your own updates with the incredible Smart Updates function, this still takes time and we know that for business owners, your time is often better spent working on other aspects of your business. This is why we decided to offer our new Management Plans. For as little as $29 a month we will take care of your Core, Theme, Plugin and Security updates for you.

I am a WordPress web developer, Do you offer Managed WordPress VPS so I can host multiple WordPress sites?

I have my WordPress site hosted somewhere else. Can I still get you to manage my updates ?

Unfortunately, no. In order for us to be able to effectively manage your updates at the low rates we charge for management, your WordPress website must be hosted on one of our WordPress hosting plans. Speak to our team today about migrating your site to us so that you can sign up for one of our management plan addons.

Will updates cause downtime to my website?

As we utilise the Smart Updates function of WordPress toolkit to check and perform updates, you can be rest assured that your site will not go offline unexpectedly. Smart Updates tests the update on a clone site without affecting your live website. It will then report if running the update can be performed without issue. If there is an instance where Smart Updates alerts us to a factor which needs to be addressed prior to running any updates we will open a support ticket to you and schedule the updates to be run at a suitable time.
